My Day at the 20th of November Parade – CECyTEC Hopelchén

Last Monday was one of the most memorable days of the semester because we participated in the 20th of November parade in Hopelchén. Walked to the starting point of the parade. The War Band and the Escolta were practicing their steps while the crowd was gathering, and everything looked very organized. I was checking my uniform when one of the teachers called us to get into position, so we rushed to our place.

The parade finally began. We started walking through the main street of Hopelchén. People were cheering, and the allegorical cars were moving slowly while parents were taking pictures.

At the end of the parade, I was tired, but happy because everything went well and we all represented CECyTEC with pride. It was a long morning, and we learned to work together, even with interruptions.
